    Weapons and Equipment That Possess Special Spells Can I Have It?

    I would really like to see special equipment that when equipped gives you special skills either buffs or spells that can only be cast with that equipment equipped and not accessible when the gear is off.

    No. Not only would that start cluttering up your inventory needlessly, it would then become a requirement for certain classes/jobs to have specific weapons JUST to use that spell. On top of all that it would bring about the gear swap apocalypse. There's absolutely nothing I like about that idea.

    The heart of the old Final Fantasy games has always been that very special weapons had the effect that if you used it as an item they cast special spells. Meh...gear swap apocalypse LOL...you can avoid gear swapping if you put a cast timer that requires you to wear the gear for x number of minutes b4 using the skill on it is possible. I'm trying to encourage uniqueness of character. Uniqueness of spell capitalization...

    Right now the way it's laid out and I understand in the future there will be more skills and spells...but it's as it is if you a job this is essentially the skills you spam every WHM looks the same from another...don't kill the idea b4 you think it out.

    I think you've seen something like it in the Primal weapons, since they have a spell/effect chance on hit. In a single player it sounds very cool, in an MMO with group content i can only think of required item to do any group content. And if the spell/effect has any really good synergy with a class or job it will either be required by the community, or weakened to near uselessness.

    Now as far as spells or effects that are apart from combat and not obtained via battle content i'd give it a great thumbs up! Maybe some DOL gear or DOH gear that could be neat. Maybe DOL gear that gives a slight run speed buff or just something neat looking happen.

    TL;DR Combat centered Spells on gear, i'll pass and disagree on. Non combat DOL.DOH or Fluff type spells, i could agree with that

    Would be interesting.. even if it brought the old "gear swap apocalypse" back. As much as I hated it from FFXI, I kinda miss it now.... -.- I like the idea, however best if they could make it with means to avoid clutter and demanding lots of inventory space.

    no because groups are then going to require people to have that certain weapon so they can use that specific spell which will then make endgame empty since everyone will be running some other dungeon to get the weapon so they can run endgame
