    im pretty sure they already said that first and foremost they will be implementing a mage job first to make up for the unbalance of melee/mage jobs. also said that before they add any new Weaponskills or offensive spells they will be adding enfeebling magic since there is a COMPLETE lack of it on any job really. so you best bet is going to be that something like a redmage will be the first extra job to be put into the game before they start putting more DD and "tank" jobs. im going out on a limb to say that the one after that will be a "companion" class like beastmaster.

    In all honesty, I think the following Jobs in XI were daring and interesting in concept. (perhaps not balance or in execution but that's another discussion)

    Puppetmaster
    Blue Mage
    Dancer
    Corsair

    All the other jobs are cool, effective, and fun. But it's the list above that I thought were colorful in concept and interesting.

    I bet the next mage will likely be a Red Mage in XIV. They just cover all the basics and it becomes common and less interesting. I hope in the future they really think outside the box and give us some really fun and uncommon Jobs.

    but i hope they add them to a job like dancer (debuffs like in tactics, but with whips like in Ragnarok Online... [without the arrows]) and not to a beastmaster (they were cool with axes imo).

    I would be fine with ninja being a tank... as long as utsusemi: ni is not available to the other classes...
    A class that is probably unable to tank multiple enemies, but great for big mobs =O!

    there so much stuff they can add from FF1 to the present in the whole FF universe i can see how they can run out of ideas. they already said there gonna give us fan service.

    The most important job to have back IMHO is Summoner. Maybe with some new features and new summons such as classical ones alongside with new ones came with FF XII. Mixing both would be great.

    Blue mage (Because there would be some amazing skills in this game to learn - they would have to introduce some way to use blue magic without MP, however)

    Time mage (It could be soooo great if they made it right - haste, slow, demi, gravity, bind, float?, reflect, comet etc. and use daggers?)

    Dark knight - we know it's coming, the only thing would be to please give it great sword AND scythe

    Musketeer - fits the game well (don't know if it was duel gun or dual gun but 2 guns would be great.. very different and interesting)

    Just moar joabs!

    Please devs do not ever add shadows to ninja when it gets added unless it is a high level ninja only ability. Also please limit dual wield to ninja only. Blink tanking is for people too lazy to learn how to mitigate damage properly on dedicated tank jobs. Before you all get your panties in a bunch I blink tanked as thief quite often in XI simply because I wasn't allowed to tank on paladin because "it's too much work for the healers"

    Let's have ninja be the dps job it was meant to be.
