I'm pretty sure that would interfere with Hamlet Defense balance by allowing crafters to synthesize items MUCH faster.
I'm pretty sure that would interfere with Hamlet Defense balance by allowing crafters to synthesize items MUCH faster.
If that is a problem, then what is about ... 'abolishing'/deactivating that skill for Hamlet Defense?
Players, those are involved in that quest, are not using HH anyways, right?
Don't use Hasty Hand for exp when leveling crafting. It's as simple as that.
I really enjoy trying to squeeze the most exp out of every synth when I'm leveling, just like I try to HQ everything I'm crafting for use. If it's too boring for you, maybe you don't really want to be a crafter.
Because that's a lot of extra work for something nobody but you is asking for anyway. You can get SO much more xp using the crafting system (I've pushed up to triple xp on a synth 10 levels above me, and hasty hand also implements an xp penalty upon use), saving you both xp and time. The only possible "benefit" I can see to allowing hasty hand to be used on things above your level would be if you're botting, as you can simply input the same command every time for a win. But you're not botting, are you?
Great to use on making food and shards after you hit 50...haha
They should just make Hasty hand, mass production only, such as base materials (Ingot's, yarn, cloth, leather, lumber etc)
It would solve a lot of this confusion about what its actual purpose is.
Fro example if you tried to use Hasty Hand on a finished item it would say "can not use that skill on this item".
They could also add a percentage of failure next to the skill such as:-
Hasty Hand (67%)
This way people will know what the odd of success is.
Perhaps these are ideas that can be used as we level up further? (They need to keep some good ideas for levels 51-99!). Also, they may add some super interesting things like: Magitek Workshop.
Where you can feed in the ingredients and set what you want it to build, and it will mass produce it for you. Its ability to make things will be dependent on your skill however. And the rate would still be 'slow' but can be done while you are not there.
Something to add to my shed in my garden in my new house? ^.^
Even if 'Hasty Hand' would be fully effective at +5-7 ranks above those of a crafter:
botting does NOT make much sense using 'Hasty Hand' skill, because you get about 2/3 more EXP
by doing usual synthesis actions.
And one need at least 3 times more mats for keeping up with EXP gain.
Or even more time / gil to spend to get those mats ...
That means: current crafting system is offering more advantages to players who like to use bots
and many disadvantages to hobby crafters who do not have much time for 'exciting' synth button smashing mission ...
Is it an appropriate answer to your question?
With buffs you push out 2-4k exp per synth , why on earth are you trying to get exp using hasty hand.
Also I'm not sure how the current system "is offering more advantages to players who like to use bots
and many disadvantages to hobby crafters who do not have much time for 'exciting' synth ", what do you mean by this?
Hasty hand is simple. Use only on syntbs that you are much higher than. It had already been fixed now that its 100% success if you have the appropriate skill lvl. What else do you want hasty hand hqs?
