I'm going to give Yoshi the benefit of the doubt and expect that there will be a variety of activities to level. From questing to xp grinding to story progression, its all already in the game, just a bit lopsided is all. For example, you get nearly half a level's worth of xp for completing the L46 story mission.

However, levelling multiple classes does seem a bit tricky under a quest based system. My guess is that however guildleves will be re-worked is how you will be able to never run out of quest content. To that end, it seems that if the zones were redesigned as a natural level progression, with hamlets and outposts being the main gathering points, then you would get repeatable quests / leves there in order to level multiple classes. No more going back to town, grabbing 8 leves, and warping back to a spot.

Again, that's just conjecture, but it makes sense and would be a neat hybrid between WoW esque questing and the current guildleve system, and would allow for repeatable questing for multiple classes.

LOL EXP GRINDING LOL LOL LOL that's pretty funny considering he said no to that. Also farming, there will be no farming in this game either. http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...2-2.0-Leveling "not like at the moment where you have to do monster camping or farming, that's not going to work in 2.0."

"...that's not going to work in 2.0"

You keep going on about the English translation of what a French person reported on what a Japanese person said.

No way possible there could have been some meaning loss in converting the statement over three languages amirite?

Doesn't matter, if Rokien thinks it will be like that, it is true...

While I can see that being a potential problem, I'm sure they've already though about it. Like one person said, there will probably be the main story quests and then quests that relate more towards your job/class. I really doubt that they will limit it in a way where after you get your first 50 job the rest of them won't have any more quests to do.

The way he says that makes me think they might be bringing back Limit Breaks. I mean it's not like there going to make mobs give 0 exp, which is the only way that current exp parties wouldn't work.

The way he says it makes me think this is Vindictus with simplistic combat.
