Carry the appropriate Grade matter for your gear.

Seek Repairs while wearing it.

Holy shit. You no longer have to pay 5k to repair to 99%.

Back when I was 14 me and my friends kicked rocks around for fun.

I'm surprised there hasn't been any dumb responses about penalties yet.

Repairing really is a dumb mechanic and I feel like anyone who would say otherwise would just be arguing for the sake of ......... arguing. Too many trolls.

I've talked to countless people in game (reasoning there instead of forums is due to never getting real responses and fact is, way more people don't visit the forums then are on the forums); really no one (no one as in very few before that gets trolled also) likes the repairing system, at all.

Yoshi did say after 2.0 he be looking into removing repairs but he didnt say it will happen. Best thing u can do man right now is ehiter leave the game for a bit and take a break or try and wait it out.

Yea i hate the repair system myself it's a little stupid, but it does have its gd points like you can make some money for repairing peoples crap.

I carry the materia. I seek for repairs using materia as a reward. Seek while i wear and bazaar full of stuff. It is just annoying. And since i cant play in windowed mode, I cant really do anything else but log off.

Not gonna:
1.Craft
2.Spam "Please fix my stuff <pos>"
3.pay 5000 per

I don't think the repair system as it is, is bad. It was a lot worse when FFXIV first started. It required specific crafting material to repair stuff, as well as the cost to repair was very high. I remember that NPC charged well over 100K to repair. Not to mention damage built up very fast too.

Today it's 5K for each item at 50, and a universal material for each level. At best, you only need grade V dark matters, which are extremely easy to obtain if you participate in any events or do any gathering jobs.
