Judging by the nature of the picture.. makes me think there's going to be a Chocobo related job ( wishful thinking) but it looks likr the Male Cat is really befriended the Chocobos.

Nah it's more like the chocobo companion system they plan on introducing and the little one could be the chocobo you are now raising. Though it could of course just be a picture showing off chocobos and the male miquote XD.

I must not be the only one noticing an adult chocobo(left) and a teen chocobo(right). I guess that damn male miqo'te is drawing all the attention and nobody seems to care about chocobo breeding and the small teaser they just gave lol.

Yeah I noticed it and was sad to see they are both still yellow but happy to see it out and about. Imagine being able to raise a teen chocobo by actually taking it out into the world to train it and whatnot (instead of having the rancher take care of it like in xi)

Looks like a lot of people were present.

The whole presentation was clearly meant for the people who haven't followed this game's progress but are interested in Final Fantasy. Yoshida is trying to sell the game to Final Fantasy fans after all. Not just XI players or former XIV players.

The fact is that the largest part of SE's main demographic doesn't know or care about anything XIV related, because it's an MMO like XI and an unpopular one at that. Luring these people to try the game will ensure success, as long as the game caters to their interests.

That said it's pretty funny how some people here are asking "what's the point" when there's no new info for us- people who are the closest to the development and most likely to stick around. The game needs new blood more than anything. And the easiest way to lure in new people is to market the game as a proper Final Fantasy, not so much an MMO.

It's also worth noting that the Miqo'te has what appears to be either a sword/dagger in a sheath or a wand/stick of some kind. For all we know, it could just be part of the belt, though.
