Dear FFXIV devS, please, improve 'Hasty Hand' skill ...

... to 100% success rating (ofc, in line with usual synthesis practice)!

Actually, synthesis improvements are really impressive and do make any crafting process much likely adorable. Thank you very much for that .

    But ...

... the whole synthesis progress is quite interesting ONLY for HQ'ing items
but NOT for daily leveling practice :/ ('cause it is imho realy 'boring' and time consuming, I'm sorry ).

By doing 'Hasty Hand' 100% effective you may make players happy, who:

    - are not really into crafting or do not have much time for that, but want to enjoy(!) their crafting experience,

    - just want to level up effectively,

    - do care about quantity and not durability (aggro factor instead of fun :/).

Then, that matter may improve server performance, if more DoH do use 'Hasty Hand'... even for a bit :P. Because a server dont need much manual inputs per craft from clients using that skill.

Imho, time sink should be not a problem here by reason that those crafter do need much more ingridients or Gil to buy them.
Anyways, there are lots of other juicy things one can do in FFXIV world .

We hope for an much more enjoyable crafting experience .

    Best wishes,

I thought it was changed to 100% if you're above the item's level?

Actually, once you are more or less even-level with the recipe you're making, Hasty Hand is 100% success rate. That way, you can actually still fail a synth that is too hard for you.
Also, Hasty Hand really, really, REALLY sucks for levelling, it's the difference between 500 and 1500 XP per synth given there is a HUGE bonus to XP the higher the quality of the item.

    That is a problem.

Usually, you get only around ~30% EXP using Hasty Hand comparable to usual synthesis progress.

But even at that rate, one may count only on ~50-60% succes rate, especially at higher recipes.

Looks like lottery to me ...

Well, Hasty Hand is meant to be an easy tool for mass production of material, not as a proper tool for crafting actual gear or for levelling.
To try to craft an overlevelled recipe it is, in fact, lottery and is meant to be because it isn't meant to be used with those recipes. It's for mass-production of things that are just not worth crafting for XP any longer like materials.

If you're leveling, you're cheating yourself by not getting Quality as high as you can. Depending on what crafting abilities you have available, you should be able to push 300-400 quality which translates to a more than 300% boost in granted exp.

Hasty Hand is intended only for converting raw materials into mid grade mats for those already above a synth's level.

Yeah push for quality instead of hasty hand or standard spam. You can get like 3k+ a synth if you do well enough and have rested bonus in the time it takes you to Hasty hand and fail 4 times. Not to mention, if you are careful you will use up a lot less materials this way.

Yes, that may be true ...

But, by making Hasty Hand 100% successful for +5-7 ranks above (by common rules) will offer any crafter leveler some choices:

    - usual synthesis: save on materials by spending more time,

    - with 'Hasty Hand' : save on time by spending more mats.

... in the end, we may have more happy DoH leveler who spend even more time on getting mats/gil for mats for their crafts preferring 'Hasty Hand' over usual synths.

And it is not about work but (Fun) in a game .
