Hello Forum goers!

I'm definitely coming back to FFXIV but the question is when. I logged on and noticed all my gear and spells were different so I fear being a little lost in lvl 22 boots and lvl 1 experience. Is there really anything to gain from starting now as opposed to after the reboot? The only thing I am aware of is the Gobbue which is pretty cool, granted but does it warrant a race to 30 and forgetting a bit of story / quests?
