Have you decided on your 2.0 beta character?

I think we will see a lot of the 1.0 crowed in beta, what I got from his post is we will focus on getting current players in instead of non players, guess we will see been playing since the last beta with no breaks, ill be pissed if I dont get in.

Umm i dont think we are going to keep 2.0 beta char, i don't remember anything about that, all i've heard from the e3 interview is that the servers will go down for a month to port our exsisting char data which we are keeping and in order to play the beta we are either going to start out with basic copy of lv 50 we have and just play beta without the option to save the data on their, ie not keep the data. So we are going to beta test with something like a virtual char while our other ones (real ones) being migrated to the new client.

As someone mentioned, I could pretend my hair has grown or something since 1.0, given there is indeed a time lapse of sorts.
I also wouldn't mind slightly pointier ears, and a flatter nose sellion ;x

Well, the 3 missing genders were supposed to be ready for 2.0 launch from what I remember, so I would hope they would be there.
Though I do vaguely remember them originally saying PS3 launch..I swear they later said 2.0 launch though..

Well, it would be pretty dumb to give us the option to select a new gender and race by the time of v2, if they were to further add more genders just a few months later again. That would kind of make our first swap a waste.

I'm going to mess with the character creation and just test out all race/gender combinations. My main will stay lalafell anyway, but with legacy having "free" 8 slots per server, I'm going to make a couple of alts, including porting my 1.0 alpha lala and beta miqo'te to 2.0 :P

If they fix the static cam angle when attacking a mob and make it so I can freely set the angle myself then I will stay a lala if they dont then I will most likely go male Roe.

Provided we get into beta, I'm going to try female highlander and man cat with same hair color and highlights so I can make my own mini lore saying it is my 1.0 character's son. Lol. Also remaking her with new changes.
