I would like to be able to buy those items I see for 2 and 3 million within the next year sometime(this is not sarcasm.)

It's funny because this is totally doable within a couple of days. It seems like mining is more popular than botany, so botany will have less competition, so you may make more money with botany. Fishing is really popular with botters since you don't have to move, so you'll have a lot of competition with people who bot fishing 24/7, I wouldn't recommend it.

Mining is most popular because...

1. It is utilized more frequently in DoH grinds (BSM, GSM, ARM) than the other two DoL
2. It has a greater number of items that sell rapidly (cobalt, electrum, mythril) as opposed to fish or logs
3. Darksteel Ore +1 has a greater frequency than spruce and trillium
4. Darksteel Ore +1 is used in just about every high-end synth
5. The distance between money-making nodes is significantly shorter for mining than other classes (Iron Lake, Dragonhead.)
