It's been said that in 2.0 our chocobo's can fight along side with us.
We will be able to form a light party with 2 people and their mounts.
Therefore, there will be by default 2 person content.

I like frog
Is that going to be enough to get into, say, Ifrit (normal)? Or one of the light party dungeons?
I think the game should have both lowman and highman content. I also think both should offer good rewards, although the types of rewards should probably vary. What if some of the rewards offered by lowman content was generally good, but had special features that made it very very good when you're in a small party?
Duos are really good for breaking up the monotony of optimal party composition tank and spank. You don't have enough room for an optimal party, so classes might be taking on roles they can just about handle, but are less familiar with. Better yet if there could be a random element to it, so you never know ahead of time what the best classes for the job will be.
Some of the most interesting battles in the FF series come about because your party gets restricted somehow and you can't take your WHM with you or whatever.
~'\[[_LEGACY_]]/'~TENTs because solo-friendly content forces me to want one!

I am all for this. As someone who has played with all different sizes of groups in pve and pvp content over the years. I find myself more drawn to the smaller scale stuff.
4 man parties was one of the few things I felt SWTOR got right. They were easy to set up and get right into the action and it felt like you mattered more instead of just another number.
I support this idea... i once suggested this before but i got all sort of negative comentaris, glad to see now you suggestin this seems people have changed their mind.
I agree!
I like to duo-trio stuff with a few friends.
Love duo/Tri stuff, was really hoping for some more options for this, asides for the multi party large group content. I understand time + effort + risk = reward. so giving small man content the same prizes as big man content, not going to happen. be we should take a bit more heed for the time factor.
I think low man content could(over more time) get closer in strength to the large man runs, it would just take more time.
1 such example I can think of right now would be the personal dungeons they added in ff XI, where the more time you spent in them the more features you got, and the more types of events you could do inside your dungeon would expand.
I think we forget about the time factor at times though because we are playing an MMO, we expect to spend time on it. But in the end Large man events should still have the zomg drops, but the low man stuff can have the ZOMG -1 type gear with the right effort and time put into it.
At least that is my random thoughts on the matter from an old Vet from FF 11.
1st let me say players can already duo the tot rak dungeon (lvl50 havent tried to see if any levels lower are able to) at least. 2nd I doubt players will beable to duo the ifrit normal until level cap has been increase. Even the lvl 25 ifrit can wipe you if he 2 hours, so duoing the lvl 25 ifrit is not something you want to do right now (at least while level cap is 50). Now at least av can be at least 4 members for af cant remember on cc though, but that content is designed for 8 members. The level 45 dungeon you can low man with 4 players and kill both bosses. So unless SE changes the conditions players may not ever beable to duo or trio the higher level dungeons and thats how it should stay.
