I had a great time last night

First time in 3 months I had a chance to actually go out and DO something. So I did a few warrior quests. I got the 4 pieces of armor and a few abilities, but I'm still missing the chest. Was great fun and I definitely missed it. Sitting back in my super-recliner, with my controller in hand, I cranked up winamp on my right monitor, ffxiv on the main, and web/gamerescape on the right, I went to town. I'm kind of bummed the weather is so nice out, as I have a yard to tend and I can't justify not throwing hte kids outside with it being so nice out.

However I'm about to refinish my basement and make a super-man-cave with ultra-surround, sound deadening, the works. Once winter rolls around, I will be glued to my chair.

you sir just described 'dat ffxiv groove'. once achieved, it is hard feeling to shake. side effects may include but are not limited to: intense relaxation, complete Eorzeaic immersion, forgetting about your family and friends etc. etc.

But i took off the arms to fit under my desk. However as it turns out the arms hold up the back, so it broke and i fell over. So I got to metal bars for each side and made cross supports. Now it naturally leans back, and it reclines extra, so with a tiny pillow behind my head i'm staring right at my monitor, and a little stool to put my feet up. My desk is a V corner that I wheel right into with my ergonomic keyboard. It is the laziest position you can get into, perfect for playing. You can switch from controller to kb/mouse with about 4 inches of hand movement, and not moving anything else.

damn.. i really need to get a better chair. or rather, i wish i just had a laptop powerful enough to play this. I miss the days of playing XI lying down. and then laptop overheating and burning a hole through the sheets. memories~

I paid a pretty penny for my chair. I figure, I spend most of my life in that chair, it had better be comfortable. Laptop gaming is for when i'm not home. I'm usually home, though, so I like my desktop.

-Second monitor needed
-Comfy chair too

Countless times I find myself watching movies while crafting. No way I would be were I am on a single monitor.
