There is no point whatsoever in introducing features that won't benefit the pre-2.0 storyline anymore, and that includes any sort of recreation process.

Furthermore, here's a general rule of thumb: DON'T CREATE A CHARACTER YOU DON'T FIND ATTRACTIVE! Geese.

just a guess on two possible reasons as to why character change will come with 2.0.they are adding new options hairstyles tattoo's etc etc. if i just loged in my hairstyle,face,nose,tattoo's may be different in 2.0 as dats are added, modified and repacked. my other guess is current Character models maybe incompatible with the new game engine, take for instance that the current models has no true shadowing, even at night with AO on we seem to be walking glow sticks.

I like how this has already been mentioned like 4-5 times times in this thread, each person coming in and thinking they're the first to say this. i read what the OP typed and i replied to it. after all that's what you do on a forum you respond to the original posters, not to a sarcastic poster who uses ancient ass Conan pics on selective victims. After all we wouldn't want to Derail this thread anymore than it already is.

Do a youtube search for FFXIV Face/Hair Swapper there is a free tool that does it. I remember there was a tool out by someone that switched female underwear to the bikinis and also the same mob maker had a tool to change face and hair.
