Actually no. Some people can still qualify for them. Returning players bought the game way before may 31s but never paid for subscription could still reactivate and get a 90 day sub and get legacy status.Yep... They really should take the Legacy Campaign banner off of the main page since it is now imposible to actully qualify for it. If you did not get in you aren't getting in. I guess it just upsets me that the only thing keeping me from getting qualified is a "free" trial that I would gladly give up now if it meant I could qualify for the subscription deadline.

Not sure if you're legacy or not?
Buy 90 days! I don't see how you CAN'T be legacy if you do that.
I bought 90 days, and now a legacy icon is showing up on my character at login.
If you bought 90 days but didn't register your game before May 31st, you still won't get legacy.
So, I got the game last week and I subbed for 90 days, yet I'm not part of the legacy campaign? Then why they still have the banner on the main page?
I'm just glad that they still haven't billed me on the subscription, because I'll cancel it right away.

Right, you're not. Scroll down that Lodestone front page a bit and you'll see the May 31st announcement.

The problem I have with this is the wording. The way it reads indicates that anyone who bought the game during, or after, May and registered for 90 days before June 30th will be eligible. It says "as of", which can also be used as,
"As of July 1st, the 90 day subscription option will no longer be available".
Furthermore, it says nothing about paying for the 90 days before July. The announcement only mentions registration. Last I checked, registration does not necessitate payment. Now I am not sure if they are changing their deadline, or what exactly is happening, but I will be reading through this thread to see if there is any more clarification. All-in-all, this might be very disappointing for some people.

I see nothing deceiving about this wording:
In order to fulfill the requirements for the Legacy Campaign, a player must register his/her copy of the game no later than Thursday, May 31, 2012, and have subscribed for a minimum of 90 days beyond the conclusion of your free trial period.
This was an announcement in May on the front page. Go The Lodestone front page, scroll all the way down > click "past topics" > May topics > very first one.
Edit: It's not that you have to pay for 90 days before July, it's that the option to pay for 90 days is going away, which is the only way to qualify for Legacy for some people (who still registered before May 31, 2012.

I understand that there was an announcement on the front page, I really do. However, announcing one thing does not mean those conditions cannot be changed. The bottom line is that the new announcement is confusing, because terms for an agreement can change, especially if it favors the paying party. Also, the May 31st announcement is no longer on the front page. This will confuse new people even more. There needs to be better clarification on this.
