Its actually purple cracks emanating from the bottom.

Not true, Diablo III's CGI is just as good as SE's latest CGI, its all a matter of taste and art style though, I can see why some would prefer anime inspired art style over more realistic blood and dirt.

Even if they hate WoW, it is simply ignorance on their end if they don't realize the successes WoW has been able to achieve over the years. I commend Yoshida for taking time to talk to the most successful MMO company in the business in the benefit of making improvements to his. Yoshida's dedication to the project only helps shows that there is a bright future in 2.0 for us.

Blizzard didn't profit off of it, so they didn't care too much. Now everything revolves around RMAH.
