Regarding the legacy campaign announcement- New deadline?

Yep... They really should take the Legacy Campaign banner off of the main page since it is now imposible to actully qualify for it. If you did not get in you aren't getting in. I guess it just upsets me that the only thing keeping me from getting qualified is a "free" trial that I would gladly give up now if it meant I could qualify for the subscription deadline.

No I didn't. I registered last week. I even went in and scheduled the 90-day subscription, so my account page reflects that my next billing cycle will charge for the 90-day plan. It sounds like that will just get converted, since I don't get billed until the 13th.

This page says nothing about the dadline. This page is why I paid for the game, and registered my plan, etc. What can I say, the chocobo sold me on it. I am one of the guys that had a SAM/RNG in FFXI that would miss Dynamis because he was busy breeding yet another chocobo. I had one of every color. I had it down to a science! LOL

Yeah, I misread it... Here is what you are talking about.

"Players Currently Within the 30-Day Free Trial Period
Players who began playing as of May 2012 and have registered for a 90-day period before June 30, 2012 will be able to fulfill the requirements needed to qualify for the Legacy Campaign. "

I read that to mean "As of May 2012, players who have registered for a 90-day period before June 30, 2012..."

What it should say is this. "Players who registerd ON OR BEFORE May 31,2012 who have registered for a 90-day period before June 30, 2012..."

I see the error in my logic now. Maybe they will update the other page as well so that others are not mislead as I was. It will not keep me from playing, I am having a blast! LOL Just got my hopes up. That will teach me to count my Chocobos before they hatch!
