Um as far as I knew it served as an integral part of the story line, also a precursor to the summon diablos. Not just a platform to spam to get phat lootz

The Primal Summoning sounds really interesting, I hope to at least get a chance to see it happen. lol I wonder how the summoner class would work then, maybe mini-primals acquired by fighting the bigger ones? But then that wouldn't be fair because the Primals seem like they'd be so rare. Guess we'll have to see.

I have to admit though, it will be awesome to see the world change when the first Primal is unleashed by a player...

I'm pretty sure there has already been hinted at that there will be a summoning class but it won't be able to summon the primals, but the smaller summons.
