Are there any plans to change this? If not, what is the likely hood of someone having an opportunity to run a dungeon with just 1 or 2 jobs maxed out?

I have no problem with leveling all the jobs to max. I just don't want to be forced to do it. If I knew right now that I had to level up 3 different jobs to max level, then gear them out in order to feel 1 dps spot in a party for a dungeon, I'd probably stop playing.

But if its more of a deal where it doesn't matter it just gives a slight edge or is only needed for speed runs I wouldn't mind no where near as much.

You can run any dungeons fine with any jobs. You just might not be able to hit 16min efficiency for not having cross class abilities and such.

Relic quest is not made for person who only has 1 or 2 job. Actually u need DoL to farm items and DoH to make item too. Need to reduce all the cost as much as possible unless you want to spend over 50 mil to buy a ready weapon. (but I doubt any player with only 1-2 job max will have that much money anyway)

We did five runs sub 17min and got five ores each.

Ya sadly you need to level up more jobs like for CC most people like to use BLM for final boss so you would have to switch if you only playing a mnk/drg. For the first half of AV is all about AOE so monk are useless and you best bet would be DRG or BLM.

No one is making you but sadly most linkshell want speed run so if you don't have the jobs level they may not let you join there runs. You would have to find a linkshell that does not really care much but seeing how you need speed run to get the items 100% drop then you may be out of luck

well maybe he had no monk?


but anyway DRG -> MNK

drg rules, especially since patch. since you just have to boost your attack power once (for about +100 more att power) and not three times than before.

but fire aura maybe is not that bad against the mistress who is weak to fire ... so monk is not a bad choice.
