Having friends means you're botting.

The event isn't based on solo play, if that was the case then there would just be names for the top 20 and not the LS included with said names. The fact LS are shown means that they did anticipate LS working together so perhaps if you were going to offer to the top 20 but wanted to see who offered items you might notice a person in the LS is in 5th place and decide to help them reach the top 3 rather then attempting to make the top 20 yourself. The entire event is based on solo players, so obviously it wasn't anticipated that a linkshell would all work together to get the top 3 spots. I never claimed that a linkshell working together would get less than a solo player, I said that I didn't like it. Learn to read I suppose.
I'd say anyone expecting top results out of hamlet by contributing solo is a third party tool. :P
I've heard nothing good about Hamlet Defense, so I haven't even touched it.
LMAO obviously YOU don't know what you are saying because HNM's were FULL of LS' using botters (seriously, everyone denied it, but really, everyone was doing it that actually wanted to get a claim) and RMT until they fixed it in 11. If you say otherwise then you were either in a LS that abused third party tools or weren't around for those days. Just saying! You act like no one was botting out of 100-200 people trying to get nid/faf for example. Ty for the good laugh though! The bot hysteria is pretty bad on these forums and almost always coming from people who are just wrong.
The HNM thread was full of it and all of it coming from people who clearly never participated in HNMs and had no idea what they were really talking about. Lot of assumptions based on their imaginations running wild from hearing over exaggerated horror stories.
As already mentioned, these are linkshells working together and functioning like... linkshells.
On Topic: Although this is a great strat, stop acting like botters don't exist and don't use their botting to get top 3, because they DO definitely exist and PROBABLY are (yes, your "friends" may bot as much as you might want to deny it).

Removed due to size restrictions and possible seizures risks.
Kind of off topic but I have a question! What do you top contributing linkshells do in deciding who gets to be the top contributor? I find the achievements to be nifty but do you all continue contributing until everyone who wants the achievement get them or do you usually elect one and once everyone has gotten their seals [that's too bad] for everyone who didn't get it?
Really? Tiamat, Cerb, KV, JoL, Kirin, etc, these HNMs were all botted?LMAO obviously YOU don't know what you are saying because HNM's were FULL of LS' using botters (seriously, everyone denied it, but really, everyone was doing it that actually wanted to get a claim) and RMT until they fixed it in 11. Bots were an issue in Dragon's Aery, at Aspid and Behemoths Dominion. Where else?
Over all it was a sliver of XI's endgame content. `If you say otherwise than you were either in an LS that sucked or weren't around for those days.`
