Well, the Coerthas faction song still sounds way off. That thing is a final boss theme, not a 'go talk with a NPC' theme

Which is a real waste if you ask me. It's one of my favourite songs and is too good to be wasted on faction leves. The vocal part is so scary.

It's almost an insult to the work Uematsu put into it, really. It's as though Dancing Mad in FFVI was used during a fetch quest.

I'm sure the original intent was to add more LeveQuests for Coerthas so the song would be used more. Most likely with the opening of Ishgard. Who knows what will happen now that 2.0 is coming. The song will probably be shuffled around or taken out of the game altogether.

Not really, but I'm counting those voice clips as the song being "in-game". They might add in the song for a final cutscene when you defeat Van Darnus in 1.23. It would really make a good complement to the end of 1.0 kind of like beating the final boss.
