    For most of the music I have to agree, XI's is so much better, I can listen to it all day. Though recent tracks from patches have been very epic since its under this new guy.

    Although Coerthas music > all!

    I disagree, I have both the FFXIV and FFXI soundtrack, and FFXIV's score blows it out of the water. Not saying FFXI isn't good, but the epicness of FFXIV is pretty awesome. Can't really expect anything less though, been made by a legend and all.

    Heh well to me, it feels as though the legend has had his time, and it was very far before XIV. I just felt the XIV music lacked so much (excluding the new ones that he didnt do). It lost all its grand and was not very "gamey" i think.

    XI was so rich, and had flavour, it was just music for the sake of music, it was music you'd visual matched to the zones.

    Yeah, I'm thinking you only played Vanilla FFXI and never got into any of the expansions, while yeah musical taste is purely opinion, there's a reason SE themselves said they're remastering the music for 2.0 and Nobuo himself said he wish he could remake a lot of the music.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2sag9hIVICM - This has yet to be beat by anything in FFXIV.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WL9vF...feature=relmfu < Probably the most atmospheric music for a maritime city during war.

    So yeah, XIV has nice music in some instances, but XI's music just has so much more life to it. As for the topic, the one thing I hoped XIV copied from XI was the login screen, especially given that instead of POL interface (which wasn't bad, as the only reason people had problems with it was because in America you only had Tetra Master and XI to login to, so they hated wasting precious seconds /rolleyes) you log into a SE login then XIV..they could easily throw in videos of zone flythroughs like XI.

    Maybe they have it in store for 2.0's client, but sadly given how generic all MMO login interfaces are, lets hope they try to stand out rather than simply fit in.

    I disagree,
    No need epic music on FF online, imho: just need FF classic ones. FFXIV has too much orchestral and rock tracks.
    Naoshi Mizuta is the key.

    Mhaura
    Mhaura flute
    Mog House

    Like these, just for example.^ ^;

    I don't mind this one bit. He's done a lot of tracks for XI and a lot of those tracks stay close to me dearly. I love re-listening to them so much! I think he should make some tracks for this game, I would totally love it.

    I am also down for Uematsu-Mizuta collaborations as well.
