As long as he's voiced by John DiMaggio, I'm good. Personally I'd like to see him as a "top"(bumbled his way up) general for Garlemaid.

I still think he'd work awesome when the level cap hits 99 and he drops Genji armor.

I'm not entirely sure what they were thinking with FFXI...

When they introduce more class specific gear, maybe Genji gear will be for a certain title like Warrior or Dark Knight, and to obtain it you have to go through a quest line where you have to fight Gilgamesh a few times.
