Indeed, Relic weapons for me. The Gae Bolg... and when we're finally able to upgrade them?

There's always going to be other like-minded people on your server. What we did on Masamune was form a Hamlet ls, we do nothing but hamlet parties in it 24/7, usually have at least 1 party going at all times, sometimes 2. Start up a ls like this and spread the word, watch how fast people pile on...
Would be working on it now if it wasn't maintenance. Its really not as bad as people think, unless you have no gil and have to pay for those weapons to break cause you dont craft or gather.
what this guy said. luck is playing a part in this hunt, but its not 100% luck. and besides. if they were any easier, why would they be relic? deal with the shit, this isnt supposed to be easy, and i hope the devs leave it. just know that they are always better than us and always will be, because we are in THEIR world. now lets appreciate it and drool over weapons maybe 1 out of 10,000 will have
its more fun that way to have that hero in the game you can talk about later
if not, there are always single player games that require far less *luck* but don't they involve luck too? hmmmm
oh well, i will never see a relic until my beard turns grey, but its nice to know that its something to work toward, some year, some decade.

It's very rare on my server to see a hamlet shout, or AV/CC shouts for the next parts. They happen but not very often. I am not too keen on waiting around doing nothing watching shouts. I like to start getting a relic now sure, but I just don't see that happening. I'll wait for 2.0 improvements and content finder which should make it much easier cause I can get a group any time of day when I want to play. There's always going to be other like-minded people on your server. When I get my Relic.. I'll appreciate it more after all the hard work I put into it. that's what it truly means to feel Accomplished and feel good about yourself!what this guy said. luck is playing a part in this hunt, but its not 100% luck. and besides. if they were any easier, why would they be relic? deal with the shit, this isnt supposed to be easy, and i hope the devs leave it. just know that they are always better than us and always will be, because we are in THEIR world. now lets appreciate it and drool over weapons maybe 1 out of 10,000 will have

It's an eventual goal I intend to go about at a natural/casual pace, but not something I'd make myself suffer grinding to try to get and then throw a fit over because I don't have it ASAP or effortlessly. The relic weapons aren't supposed to be something everything has, nor meant to be obtained easily/quickly. The RNG isn't so bad if you space the content out, and do the content because you enjoy it, instead of some chore you're binging on and wouldn't do unless it was for relic.

You know nobody will shout if everyone have the same mind as you and just wait for shouts? and they will all whine about the same thing that nobody is doing stuff? step up if you want to do stuff. It's very rare on my server to see a hamlet shout, or AV/CC shouts for the next parts. Reason why established LS get stuff accomplished is because they have people that willing to step up and lead the run, LS falls apart when people doesn't step up and wait for people to hold their hand.
Leading a group or guild isn't for me I done it before. You have to be pretty much on top of replacing people who get bored or quit or the group falls a part. FFXIV has a high turnover of players who quit or get bored or just all of a sudden stop logging on. You are sitting there wondering what happen to my LS there's 50 people on the list and only 4 ever log on. Which to me is the most annoying part the constant finding replacements for people who quit playing. You know nobody will shout if everyone have the same mind as you and just wait for shouts? and they will all whine about the same thing that nobody is doing stuff? step up if you want to do stuff.

I have played a couple mmos that had a dungeon queue system and it works well enough so that's why I am waiting for 2.0. If SE can do it right sure will be much easier to get a relic then. In this generation of games most group forming is automated, call it the CoD or WoW effect but that's what a lot of people expect now. You got to admit shouting for making groups is pretty archaic. Once SE puts content finder in 2.0 most of the problems will be solved log in push a button get into the action. Really wouldn't care about bad drop rates at this point cause can just queue up for more if I don't get the drops I wanted.
