Your comment is invalid because it already happens with the current system. Weather restricted or not, people create restrictions for themselfs, eg Job stacking (arch onry, lnc onry, war onry etc....), specific setups and the whole Garuda exploit is proof.Answer this: Why should you be allowed to do content solo? Why should you allow people to low man 'hard' battle content? You do know that causes more problems than help, right?
"/shout looking for members, Ifrit/Moogle/Garuda, only need 2 highly skilled experienced players!"
Or in linkshell
"Anyone wanna do Ifrit/Moogle/Garuda? Need 2 people, preferably, double-triple melded gear and x class to 50 with (list of sub abilities)"
Removing restrictions actually causes people to create their own set of restrictions (If you've played any MMO, you can't say you've never seen this happen before.)
Answered.
Therefore, what's the problem with the current system? Restrictions will happen regardless if SE does it or if players does it.
Because it gives people have choice.
Right now:
- People restrict to specific classes and even specific gear.
- People are forced to get 8 people for content.
With the change:
- People still restrict to specific classes and even specific gear.
- People can do content with however many people they like.
1 Cancels out because it happens now and before.
1 Provides a system that is full of freedom.
1 Provides no freedom unless you mean freedom to leave people out by choice rather than by design, you're absolutely correct.Because it gives people have choice.

Elaborate, i fear you have completely missed the point, but without understanding the thread i guess that's obvious. You should really read the thread before posting.
