Physical/regional servers FINALLY confirmed ??! (Y)

man i see you reeeally want to argue in favor of your regional severs idea here but the reality is:

IF they make regional servers for all 3 regions, even if they leave international servers open, it will have enough impact on the playerbase to split the community into 3 AND severely cripple the existing server community's

The Ifrit fight is NOT fun for me with this latency. If Square Soft decides to not do anything about it, i will quit playing this game.

Even though pretty much every MMO out there that is WAY more successful than XIV right now, has regional servers lol.

Maybe Yumi_Hibiki is used to the lag, i sadly cant stand it, the amount of time it takes to sell some junk items or trade with retainer is painful. And ofc the BS "you're on fire" even though I am 5 miles away.

i didn't say the regional servers wont be full and lively,
its just the international ones taking the hit and forcing you on a regional one in the long run if you don't want to play on a low population server, global servers aren't something that's is very common so most new players will automatically flock to regional ones

takes a lot of restraint not to just answer:
"why don't you play those awesome way more successful games that have everything you want and sprinkles on top then?"

infact we all know that FFXIV was a failure, and lag is one of the pieces of the mosaic. While in other games, lags is just an old thing that should not happen in 2012 with current tecnology ^^"
