People faired perfectly fine in Final Fantasy XI...Hell they even had "FUN"

Even if XI latency was better, it was a dead slow and even more static game worse than XIV (but it was ok 10 years, ago but now really NO. ) So the latency feeling was better.

Never played FFXI so can't comment on that, but did you ever play a fast paced MMO (WoW for example) with a ping over 200?

This, i remember when there where rarely laggy night with 300-400 ms of latency (full server in italian primetime) and most intelligent thing to do was skip the raid night cuz even if it was slightly playable (still better than XIV lol) .. you had no chance to survive with that latency (avoid boss special moves, kill fast the boss cuz you know, in modern game there is the "enrage" usually in 10-15 min).

As i said before, people are "stuck" on XI or never tried High leven endgame in other games, and this is the greatest problem. Guess why Yoshi-P invited the team play a bunch of western MMO :P
