    What I want to know is why did SE give us so many slot options, but then make most of the unusable by having the slot costs as they are? If they only wanted us to have 3 items equipped it should have been two rings and a necklace, not all this extra junk.

    I like the slot cost for accesorries.
    why? so i can use the ones i like esthetically, you see i for example use only one earring, cos i like the look, and i can do it without LOOSING anything. they give us lots of slots so we candecide which accesorries we want, not everyone wants fo be wearing more gold chains than Mr. T.

    I say remove the slot limitations, High Rank Accessories will take up too many, resulting in low level accessories being used.

    Though, I think most of this is due to Optimal Rank. If you are higher than Optimal, do the stats still act normal? or is it as if you are too far form the optimal that they do nothing?

    While I'm fully in agreement with the above, the problem you're describing isn't really with the rank requirements on the gear, but instead it's a failure of the item stat descriptions. When we look at a piece of gear, it SHOULD show us what effect we'll see at our current rank (perhaps show the current rank stats in place of what we see now, and show the optimal rank stats in parenthesis).

It's not a huge difference, true, but it does lend a small amount of individuality to your character, something I always welcome.

    Then they might as well not bothered putting any stats on the accesories at all and just let us wear whatever we wanted, why not go one step further and do it for everything so we can all wear what we want to because we "like the look".

    I take function over form any day thank you. If I want a certain look I do it with my town gear not my battle gear.

    ^Yes. A simple solution would be: Toggle accessory slots - just like the toggle helmet slot....
