I've even tried searching for it without success, just so I could see if it's true or not. Cause believe it or not, some people have a hard time trusting people on the interwebz.

I was saddened by the thread title, and I was going to reply, but normalforce pretty much said everything I was going to. The teaser was created to be used on the small scale, and not intended to be used at the full size. Our players wanted to see it larger, and we were lucky enough to be allowed to show it (even though it wasn't taken with the bells and whistles on). That's pretty much the long and short of it.

There we go, finally found out where the hell Bayohne mentions they don't run at full specs. Click the backlink to check the post he's reffering to, it's kinda big.

You missunderstood me, you saying it's there on the dev tracker holds as much value as the people who said that the miracle patch was confirmed for release. And yes, give me some kind of info about what the post was about and I'll try, but searching every post for a small line that says "The screenshots we take are always on standard settings" is a bit vague.

Stop running the game on low/medium settings I guess?


Edit: Also some of us atleast are saying one or two things are worse, the rest is better. How is that hating? Unless you love everything that's thrown at you you're a hater?

Do they get the latest, top-of-the-line, hardware or something more moderately priced? And then how often should those computers be upgrade?

If the dev team has been working on this for the last 4 to 5 years, it stands to reason that most of them are still using hardware from that long ago. I doubt every dev is running this game on the highest settings possible. That's not to say that some devs don't have a machine capable of doing exactly that, just that this image wasn't produced from one of them.

That was in response to PR ineptitude about lack of AA in their promotional shots.

The build you are looking at there is an Alpha build. Make of that what you will sir. No clue if the screenshots are on a platform or PC. Also the article I got this info from says they are watching it on a laptop. I am not sure if the screen shots that were given are from the same source but they could be.

This runing on a laptop could be close to what ps3 specs would be no?

Seriously good job. Now some will probably say that doesn't prove that this is the case with these new screenshots, but it's enough for me to atleast have alittle faith.

also ikea, miracle patch exist only in player mind, not in dev tracker. And so, their work count more than ours when responding to infos
