And ignoring the fact that the developers have previously stated that they run the program on standard setting and take pics at that setting rather than on the max is somehow less blind? Why do you believe they have completely changed this long standing precedent? There's being objective, and there's being obtuse. Why are you all so unwilling to see any negative light? If there's an issue then I'm more than happy for it to be addressed. Ignoring potential issues (Like the graphics looking worse than they do currently) is just damaging the game in the long run.
Be positive sure, but stop being blind.
See, the thing also is 'looking worse than they do currently' is also relative. Why are you all so unwilling to see any negative light? If there's an issue then I'm more than happy for it to be addressed. Ignoring potential issues (Like the graphics looking worse than they do currently) is just damaging the game in the long run.

For one, I don't think they new graphics look worse at all. Maybe it's my glasses, maybe my own graphic card, or hell it might be just my own attention span. But I couldn't notice a single portion where thew new screenshots have anything, even textures, worse than the game I run right now. Heck, if I strain a lot I might even be able to notice but the other effects like the non-1000000candle-lamp lighting effects and overall better usage of color make it vastly difficult to care about it.
So, thing is, most people you see here defending it are mostly just trying to make you see a reason to like it because THEY don't see a reason why it's negative.
Graphics isn't everything look at blizzards game and they sell millions. look at the areas these SS are in, they're like a dynamic new world and feel to the game,Why are you all so unwilling to see any negative light? If there's an issue then I'm more than happy for it to be addressed. Ignoring potential issues (Like the graphics looking worse than they do currently) is just damaging the game in the long run.

always looking for good people.
And we're 27 pages in and NOBODY has been able to link this quote. If you want people to stfu so badly that you keep on posting about the 'haters' just go find the link, post it and watch what happens. If I had the link, I would. I've even tried searching for it without success, just so I could see if it's true or not. Cause believe it or not, some people have a hard time trusting people on the interwebz. And ignoring the fact that the developers have previously stated that they run the program on standard setting and take pics at that setting rather than on the max is somehow less blind? Edit: Also some of us atleast are saying one or two things are worse, the rest is better. How is that hating? Unless you love everything that's thrown at you you're a hater?

Dude, that message been on dev tracker months ago. That's hundreds of posts. Excuse us if we don't have another life just to find itAnd we're 27 pages in and NOBODY has been able to link this quote. ps: that's the problem. Some of you. Then you look at people like ingolf and bobbygunz (aka gifthorse, the most reticent troll from alpha until now, every time banned and still around buying the game again every time) and turn angry. With a good cause

Be careful when wielding axes. It might lead to dismemberment.
Apparently. If you disagree with someone you're a troll. If you point out any flaw you're a hater and if you try to justify your arguments you get flooded with people saying that you're 'entitled'.And we're 27 pages in and NOBODY has been able to link this quote. I hate the fact that the XIV community (especially on the official forums) is considered one of the worst gaming communities out there.
Just like the miracle patch was confirmed for release? Cause alooot of people were saying that on the forums. You seriously don't understand why people have a hard time trusting other people on forums?
You seriusly understood what i said? I said DEV TRACKER, aka spoken by a DEV, not an internet pinco. And that' months ago, hence it can't be found easely. If you're so unwilling to trust some people on internet, take a lot of your time and search it. It's there, but covered from hundreds of posts
