doing maths, the average time to get the pre-req done in a static is 144 days (and this is not the relic quest yet). relics in ff11 usually take like 90 days or less.

90 days for 1 XI weapon (and that's if you're shouting for currency 24/7), 144 days for 8 XIV weapons. You're way off.

144 days is just to get the requirements to access the quest. And it can take longer if you're not lucky, or if you lose some times, or if you don't play for 5 hors every day.

It's like getting 9 darklight pieces.

Agree with you, can't believe people think this is worse than 11 relic weapons. Those took a year+ to complete when they were first released and that's focusing entirely on a single person's weapon.

I agree. Not sure what's wrong with the math here. But...

Given the Hamlet is @ lvl 3 and training to pull 90k per run, That's 8 hours per hamlet to get everyone their seals.

So if you sit and play for 4 hours when the battle Hamlet is up, just say 2 weeks of good runs. You can have all your seals. Then since you will be able to do any Caravan you want post 1.22b. Just go ahead and farm seals for whatever Hamlet needs to be provisioned, to boost Level.

2 Weeks of farming GC seals and Hamlet Seals, flag quest, done.
For those that are a little slower, you can have the quest flagged around the time 1.22c comes, which hopefully has further quests for the AF weapons.
