New Screenshots from E3

Even if it is a "Downgrade", the graphics still look awesome enough for me to be immersed by my Surroundings. Not only that, nothing on any of those Screenies look to be copied and Pasted.. "Thats alot better the graphics, and take a "little downgrade for non-c/p areas anyday!" =).

Graphics still look okay, but they also look just like TERA and Blade and Soul. I thought they would be optimising the game so it still looked as good as it does now but allow more than 40 people to be on screen at once. Smaller zones should have taken care of copy paste problems.

I think it's a downgrade so people with lower spec PCs can play. They shifted the bellcurve down. And now highest settings looks like those screenshots. That's my theory.

I hate to be "that guy", but while I will say that the game does look really nice, it still doesn't answer the question of how does it play. A game that looks nice, but plays terribly is still a terrible game. And while I can say that FFXIV has improved since the 1.0 days, I'm still not convinced through the screenshots and concept art that 2.0 is going to be better.

I kind of have to agree. I saw some guy earlier say "never before has a game made a come back like this!!! omg" or something to that effect.

I wanted to say "um... it's just a couple of screenshots... which are technically worse than what we already have."

I hate to rain on everyone's parade, but best to assess things rationally.

I understand, and I'm sure we will get answers by either the website or by Dev responses. But I feel like this is just for the Standard user, not a person who has the money to have a beefed up computers to have the highest settings. But we will see.
