They have stated before that they do the test runs on lower settings, not the maxed out ones. Why anyone would be surprised that these shots are also in low resolution is beyond me.
Playing games for the graphics is like watching porn for the story.
Eh, anything that SE shows is in Standard Settings ( which is for the people that have low end computers), and the Res. is Obviously on the low side ( to show off that this is going to be for the people that can't afford a high end computer). It is also possible that this is foe the PS3 Graphics.
Even with the graphics on the Low-side it still looks like an epic game. ( give it time, I'm sure Yoshi-P will post High res shots of the Screenshots).
Thats just how I see it.
They should release some maxed out screenshots for PR reasons at least.
Crafting commands in the action bar?
You know... for the reasons stated previously in this thread? Everyone hasn't seen that statement that you're all talking about, but nobody links. It's not common for games to release screenshots that aren't maxed, especially not when they're the first real screenshots released of the product, or am I wrong?
They have been this entire time. People on this board were making the exact same bitches about the job af's when those pics were first released. Industry or not, it seems to be SE's m.o.
Are you kidding. Obviously since I've just read 2 of your post that state the graphics aren't great..... I don't know with what kind of eyes you have in your head but you should be seeing a significant improvement........ The rise in quality is hard to deny, I just don't understand where you could be coming from.
Thats why iam saying, they need to release some maxed out screenshots. Because they want to reach some new players dont they? And how are those supposed to know that these pics arent maxed out, when even we argue about it?
