It was never stated the PS3 game would be coming this year it was down for an early 2013 release on the 2.0 roadmap, so if true this would mean it has been brought forward.
or it just means that as usual, a website listed an estimate based on what they think will happen

Beta starts in November and runs through at least January.
It's common practice for retailers to put bogus release dates so the game can be in their system and available for preorder. Usually anything with an unknown Q1 release will be in their system as "December" till a solid date is announced.
True, websites do that all the time but it has been listed as TBA for ages and all of a sudden it has a release date. It is probably nothing but it is so rare we hear about the PS3 game I thought it was worth mentioning.
well, whats the difference between december 18 and early 2013? early 2013 is only 13 days ahead from that date, also, Yoshida said the roadmap changed and they have to update it.
