The FFXIV forum community seriously has like zero imagination. Instead of asking for a new or different race... they ask for another slutty animal race from previous games.

Imagination has NOTHING to do with it. It's a personal preference. We've never been able to play a Viera in ANY Final Fantasy MMO's and with that question they asked and the example they gave, a lot of people got their hopes up. Don't hate on the community for picking what they like. We're getting called "morons" now. Great. I love the minority

Yeah but they still won which makes everything else a minority and I WIN. Never heard of polls before? The game is called I WIN and the one with the most votes wins, making everything else obselete which therefore equals minority. Get it?

Except you winning doesn't mean you're getting what you want, unless all you wanted was to win and you don't care what actually happens.

Nope. If you read the forums from way back in the day, I requested new races and asked for Viera to be a contender. Played Final Fantasy Tactics and always had them in my parties because of the jobs that were available to them. I just said all that mumbo jumbo to troll.

Well how about letting people know what you really think intsead of posting "mumbo jumbo." It might not be as entertaining but you would be understood a lot better. People shouldn't have to look "way back in the day" to figure this out.

Some people might actually want to have an intelligent discussion, shocking as it may sound.

Sorry, that isn't quite how things work I just wanted to point out that you can't say "a majority of players feel like Viera/mammalian beastmen should be added'. Because they don't.

They did receive the most votes though, so now the devs knows that much. Like Yoshi said about jobs...it will be interesting to see what new races they add. (notice the non commitment)

Lol I know. Was just trolling you. It would suck for them to ask this question and not even implement one in time for 2.0. You know how many people will want to change again when they release it since they are basically announcing a new race?

As far as classes go, we need more than just summoner added. I hope that they will add more at the release of 2.0 and continue with the two that are already in game. I'm looking at you Muskateer and Archanist
