Matter of style. If people want nearly naked characters, there is the whole crowd of korean MMOs like Aion, Tera etc. to fap to.

Like you say, it's matter of style and taste. If people likes it, who are you to judge? I don't particularly like Viera, but i dont care if they are implemented, i don't lose fingers if they do.

The only part I found to be awesome was the part where it clearly states 95% of all the players never use the forums. Kinda makes you wonder why they would do something totally stupid like listen to anything that anyone puts on hear the way they did with player transfers when it represents such a low number of actual players.

Tons of info in this letter, and yet I feel very underwhelmed by all of it. This close to 2.0 I guess I am just sick of hearing about what will be and finally want to just see what we have been waiting so long to for.

That small percentage of people convinced the developers to go a different route on the world server restructure. Developers need the feedback regardless if the ideas are good or bad.

Yep, and like this info shows, and like I said at the time, its a mistake to listen to such a small percentage of your player base and that shit should have gone in a player poll. It makes no difference in the end, it is what it is, and we are where we are. I just hope they use this poll info in the future when considering some of the things people put on here. Any time your trying to be democratic, and you let a tiny percentage determine the fate of the larger percentage, you have failed in book.

No. It stated 95% doesn't really post. I am sure they still contributes when it comes to votes and stuff.

considering they still visit the lodestone, and itl tell them about the poll when they log in, thats how they get them all, some people dont realize that

So either an assload of people are posting but not reading what others are posting at all (unlikely) or the majority of people don't give a crap about the blogs altogether for reading or posting. For the record I don't consider the player polls part of this as its clear that more people use the player polls than those that use the forums, which goes back to my original argument about them being the best scource at gathering what the majority of players really want.

Anyone remember way back when they were asking us what features we'd like added, and these player forums were a choice?
Trying to remember what the other options were.
