The more gil these people have, the prices for all these items will remain the same. While people are leveling up and new to the server, they have to grind that much more leves just to get good gear unless they can find a nice person to help them (or linkshell).

Trust me, gil is better than your levels
Why are many people leve focused?
There are other ways to get gear or gil, too
For starter gear, most low level sidequests have low level gear as reward.
