Being skeptical is one thing, claiming that its a scam is another. There is nothing wrong with asking in such cases indeed. But jumping to conclusion without any evidence is just wrong :s

Lot of studies did prove that. And that is also why companies rather invest into seminaries/meeting to teach their employees basic security rules to avoid issues rather than spending all their security budget on developing software countermeasures and chaining their employees by filtering websites they can visit etc.
