    A more entertaining boat ride.

    Kind of miss the monsters on that ferry in 11. As annoying as the sea horror was, it was very memorable and made the ride kind of fun. Oh, and the pirates. I think it'd be nice to have those things again in 14 to spice up the ride from Uldah to limsa. If that happened though, the spawn point for people should be changed to below deck... Probaly would put sea hares...orobons...some new fish monster... akpallus... stuff like that.

    Sad part is, not many people ride the ferry at all. I wish anima was back to normal so we can actually see people running throughout Eorzea, not warping (or deathwarping)

    I really wish the boat was more lively as well. Make it rock and move or something. Having random events would be nice as well.

    But like DeadRiser pointed out, no one rides the ferry anymore. Now that people have all the crystals attuned to, its a simple group tele everywhere you go.

    As a frequent ferry feline (lol) I would like monsters to be added to the boat too. I hate being too safe.

    I think something that can make it more interesting is make fishing possible, if its not (sorry never tried the fishing class) and make rare catches off the boat as well as special treasures and quest that use the boat. I loved taking the boat on XI because you always had fishers trying to get something and then the quests that made you fish up quest items. I think this would help make people want to use the boat a little more. I mean even in XI we had better ways to travel then to use the boat but people used it for all the other reasons.

    I think once SE needs to adds in other means of travel, Chocobos and airships, and you'll see more people running around. I am a very dedicated player, I play everyday, but because of life I can only play about 30-45 mins most nights, so running from camp to camp or even from LL to another starting city would take me days in the real world to make the trek. I use the warp, not because I like it, but because its the only way to get around and still have time to play. I hope this gets solved soon, it does get lonely walking the roads with only the mamots to keep me company.

    You can already fish off the side of the ferry but it is a grade 1 fishing spot and the current way to load onto the boat is automated. Meaning to get back on to fish, you would have to pass back into the doorway in the very short time of docking and ship departure making fishing on it very difficult. I would rather it not be a main fishing spot like 11 was and keep the loading nice and automated so I may AFK for the ride soon as I pass the gate. I do agree though the ride is quite boring and besides the realistic occasional thunderstorm effects, it is 10 minute ride of nothingness.
