not even gonna bother reading all the posts because i know they all say NO FUCKING WAY REALLY?
..speechless
I will not heed your worthless cries.
SE is hiding something and there not telling, my guess is this trailer is not functional, does not show change, or simply doesn't exist. if SE is telling the truth than the need to fire there PR Team for being stupid in there assessment.
Ive got this Feeling like 2.0 is going to be pushed back into the Early/Mid 2013's...and if its not ready by the December 2012 For the love of Twelve, Don't let Wada pull another Tanaka.
Ok here is the funny thing. Did anybody notice that the people on this thread complaining about this game are level 50 players? Also the poll that was released say that most players who do play this game play over 4 hours a day. Seems to me the people playing this game seem to spend an awful lot of time time playing something they "seem" to hate.
Raising concerns as to how the game is to be marketed is completely unrelated to how they enjoy the content of the game. If anything it seems natural to me that the players who play the most and love the game the most would be the ones most concerned to see that SE get the marketing right to help ensure the success of 2.0Ok here is the funny thing. It has long annoyed me that people assume that those people who complain about some things on here must not like the game, it exactly because some of them love the game that they feel moved to raise these concerns.
I've seen a few reports on fan-sites etc stating we aren't getting any more 2.0 news until August? Can anyone point me to where that is stated?
Yoshi has stated no trailer because they will have a 2.0 teaser site that will provide *lots* of information instead of just a trickle. (the trailer)
His Exact words are "We also plan to unveil a brand new promotion site for version 2.0 soon after E3 ends."
Not sure how many people know but SE recently purchased two FFXIV related domains:
arealmreborn.com and arealmreborn.net -- these will more than likely be the 2.0 teaser sites.
Are people implying that "soon after E3 ends" means August?
That could be two weeks after E3 for all we know?
Loyalty and enjoyment are two different things.Ok here is the funny thing. Did anybody notice that the people on this thread complaining about this game are level 50 players? I hate how Stale this game has become, how boring, how repetitive, but the only reason this game even had a second chance is because we the ever not so appreciated Loyal fan base allowed it to happen.
not because SE willed it trust me, if every one quit the day they started charging this game would be dead, Sealed and buried in the laughingstock of Failures Cemetery
They got a funny way of expressing those concerns and showing a love and respect for the title they clam to be concerned about.Raising concerns as to how the game is to be marketed is completely unrelated to how they enjoy the content of the game. Sorry, but the outrage at no trailer is uncalled for, no matter how you try to spin it. It's people just once again vindicating their unfocused rage at the next flaw or imperfection in anything in their precious entertainment life they see.
It's not as if E3 came and went without a word from SE about FFXIV. We are being told ahead of time that the trailer is not going to be there because they want to have more info and gameplay to go with it, which is something they can't provide right now.
Can't get any more clear cut than that. The only question it raises is the state of readiness of 2.0 with only about 3 months til the beta.
The new roadmap PDF slates the trailer for August.I've seen a few reports on fan-sites etc stating we aren't getting any more 2.0 news until August? Can anyone point me to where that is stated?

As far as how that relates to when "soon" is for the site, let's look at what Yoshi said:
It's confusing. So they don't want to release the trailer because they don't want to "trickle" information. But they're going to release a Web site with intermittent updates? Sounds like a trickle to me.This new site will feature world lore, character, system, and content updates as soon as the information is available. This means that our existing players will have the chance to follow these updates and see how the current world of FFXIV will transform as we move into version 2.0.
It may be that this site goes up within days of E3 ending, but it will then do so unbeknownst to the general public. It's not unreasonable to assume they mean for the site to coincide with the release of the trailer.
Only time will tell.
what else is there that isnt crap i hate wow i wont touch tor all set with tera and rift what else is there that gives you ability to be every job oon 1 toon .... i would say No E3 will be last effort to get the NA population to play its product but SE is saving all its content off 2.0 for tokyo game show expo in japanOk here is the funny thing.
