Man, reading the comments on all the sites that have reported this is simply hilarious. Next in line is Siliconera, they just posted the story.

Weird I seem to remember a certain MMO, by SE even, that had its introduction video / announcement at E3 a few years back. It seemed to cause quite the stir, and hype. Oh wait, that's the same game we're playing now.Man i love how everyone thinks SE needs to tell them 3 months in advance every choice they make. They could care less right now if you guys quit over this or w/e cause if they don't get more players to play this game its gonna bomb anyway so it don't matter if you guys don't like this choice or not.
No one gives a shit about mmo's @ E3 its all about Nintendo Sony and Microsoft, all the press is gonna be over those three big companies all the little bitches in this thread whining makes me remember why i hates these forums.

It's not that for me it's:Man i love how everyone thinks SE needs to tell them 3 months in advance every choice they make. April 14th: We'll have a new promotion end of month for players that haven't seen the game yet.
Nothing since.
Some distant past:
We will release the poll results with the producer's letter.
Next letter: butt-all.
Letter after that: 1/7th of the questions.
So. Under-promise, over-deliver. It's a great customer service mantra. Best customer service training in the world is at McDonald's as as a previous store manager that's how we treated our customers. Make them think the might get stale fries but always have fresh fries up.
Working now in the graphic arts/programming industry it means even more. Tell a client the project will take 2 weeks and cost $1500. Finish it in 1 and charge $1100. They are so farking happy they recommend you and you get more business.
As for me:
is more important than:Well, the public release of version 2.0 is set to kickoff with this year’s E3 in Los Angeles. We also plan to unveil a brand new promotion site for version 2.0 soon after E3 ends.
This new site will feature world lore, character, system, and content updates as soon as the information is available. This means that our existing players will have the chance to follow these updates and see how the current world of FFXIV will transform as we move into version 2.0.
new trailer for version 2.0 at E3
They still are giving you everything tho Dev do not have to tell you anything once ppl get this through their thick skulls they would be more grateful. Yoshi didn't promise a E3 trailer he said one would be there and PR said it would be better to show it @ this time. It's a good thing none of you is running this game cuz it would be just like it was in 1.0It's not that for me it's:

Edit: probably would have gotten the full letter if you guys didn't make 1`9286219867 threads bitching a whining about it.
Why? Cause this could have already been sorta out and you wouldn't have to hear people crying now.Because we all know our feedback doesn't help the game. Oh and S.E. is trying to make a game survive that you think is going to bomb. And we all know that loosing customers is perfect business logic. They could care less right now if you guys quit over this or w/e cause if they don't get more players to play this game its gonna bomb anyway so it don't matter if you guys don't like this choice or not.
I do agree for the most part it is about those 3, but for your last part. Ok Mr. IlovetheseforumssomuchIhavealmost2kposts. You say remember like you haven't been here for a long time. Oh perfect idea. Lets just make all topics "Praise everything they do." That should be perfect for you hm? In fact why have multiple threads of that? You only need one. Let's get rid of discussion and just have a single topic that is "Say why you like this game here. Nothing else allowed."No one gives a shit about mmo's @ E3 its all about Nintendo Sony and Microsoft, all the press is gonna be over those three big companies all the little bitches in this thread whining makes me remember why i hates these forums.
I got the full letter Mr. Man. What I'd rather have is the entire company not come off half-cocked and say "this is going to happen, and this and this and this... and then..." and then we see 50% of what they say. That's all.
omg people check this out...
What if...What if all this means that Final Fantasy Versus XIII will finally be getting the spotlight??!
No i don't praise everything but These forums are shit. I think Hamlet is terrible and i thought seal rate was terrible but they fixed that I think their one shot boss mechanics are shit also and my favorite one to hate is the stupid fkin primal drops. Why? Cause this could have already been sorta out and you wouldn't have to hear people crying now.Because we all know our feedback doesn't help the game. All those things are legit things to hate, I'm not gonna bash a company for doing what they think is best for their game and not ppl who know nothing about marketing. I'm also sure some nerd who is clearly lying sitting behind trier desk is gonna say they work in the marketing field.
Also If they lost 1000 of you and gained 500k more i'm sure they would happy with their losses.
Edit: Also i don't think the game will bomb i'm just saying if they don't market it correctly who cares if the game is shown @ E3 or not because then it wont be a game to play. Also LOL @ people who think E3 is the only place to get good game info as long as SE puts the game into the limelight it wont matter if its done @ E3 or @ GC.
