and the buffs to keep the dd's topped off, and the dot's that kept ifrit from gaining health when the dd's had to run from eruptions, and the heals to be the off healer. thm was useful in ifrit even before the self combo's and the thunder fest was put in. to say otherwise is quite foolish since it was shown over and over it was effective and useful as more than just a "heal bot"

No, sorry. thm in ifrit was hardly an effective dd. It had aoe stoneskin and protect/shell, but nukes were quite a downer, and dots weren't enough powerful to deny ifrit's auto regen, it could still regen even with bio and poison altogether.
It wasn't shit, but not really a powerful dd on him

it be ok if Blm didnt have every spell if 2 out of the 3 didnt suck. lolice and fire aoes drain mp far to fast and are only useful mobs that can be burned down before the blm is killed.

i said it was useful as more than a cure bot. watch the videos on the first ifrit kills. there was a thm in them. it wasn't there because it was useless or only a cure bot. it was there because it was a benefit to the party.

THM main purpose was cure's tho... a cnj could do the same thing as thm in 1.19.....could equip all those skills and do the same thing. thats why when they removed Sac III from being AoE thm was terrible class cuz it could not longer be the ultimate cure bot.

I desperately want this game to succeed (said this earlier). These two threads, that I made the other day, were/are a couple of my last attempts at trying to convince everyone to "give in," and just ban together to, not just salvage this game, but bring about it's ultimate success.

Granted, from the kind of feedback I'm getting, it's not just an uphill battle....it's a damn near hopeless one lol x.x
