I will give non-judgemental advice for you. I would quit while you are behind. I understand these are forums and no one likes to be right or wrong, but you need to know when to quit when no one agrees with you. I would keep my opinion to myself at that point and move on unless I plan on looking worse.

I wouldn't worry to much. E3 is not the "end-all-be-all" that it used to be. Chances are they are preparing a showing for the Tokyo Game Show instead.

This. E3 isn't the make-or-break that it used to be. It's a place for Publishers and Console developers to show off and talk about sales and make grand gestures like putting Basketball players on stage. After that, it's just another games expo.

Like I said like 25 pages ago, "wait and see", and I'm taking your advice, weather I'm wrong or right, the forums will be the forums, I shouldn't be batting people down with a baseball bat till they agree with me. we all have our own opinions, and I should respect that, and I'm sorry for the trouble that I caused.

Use the same trailer from before for all I care... last I checked the original trailer wasn't what was broken. I want information (data, testimony) supporting resolution of all the problems with FFXIV.

After all that SE has been saying the past few months with "omg wait til E3 big FFXIV 2.0 Trailer!".

SE said ONE thing in a LFTP. The rest of the "OMG WAIT FOR THE TRAILERRRRR!!!11!!1" was from these forums.

I really am disappointed by this. Really. I think they're making a huge mistake and I don't feel there's any way I can possibly defend this decision.

The fact that they decided to pair this with the only the parts of the poll that we all already knew already makes it even worse. The majority are most excited for 2.0? My mind is blown. Those really weren't the parts that any of us cared about. I can only hope my suspicion of them having already added the likely popular class/jobs is there reason for holding that back. Saving it to be paired with a reveal.

Back to Diablo 3. That'll relieve some annoyance over this.

Hmmm SE is being smart about this one. I think most people already knew about 2.0 info by SE so doesn't matter about the trailer. They wanted to do this way so we can experiences 1.23 (2.0 world change in august?) and new ps3 beta is in September for new people. They want people to experiences the 2.0 but instead just trailer since last trailer didn't looks promising. I wouldn't come back if only for trailer but instead I want to play in 2.0 and beta test it.
