Well, the public release of version 2.0 is set to kickoff with this year’s E3 in Los Angeles.

It sounds like the game itself will be there, just not the fancy CGI trailer (and that's not as important as showing off actual gameplay anyway).

I really don't see anything about that statement saying they will show gameplay. Until a rep gets back to us with an official statement saying they will show some gameplay at E3, i'm not expecting anything but an interview and more artwork.

I hope you're right in what they mean by that. I'm still going to watch E3 in hopes for any new info on the game if not that though. And if we're lucky, Yoshida might have some new screenshots tucked away somewhere to show us like he's done before in the past with his Producer Live letters xD sneaky lil' bastard.

See I'm not even certain of "we'll get a ton of info just not the trailer". They specifically said they're going to hold back on information so that they can have a flood not a trickle...that really doesn't suggest we're getting much in terms of 2.0 news at e3.

If they keep up this bait and switch saying they will do one thing, than do way less than the opposite of it I will have full reason to drop my site and just move on to GuildWars2 and related items to it.

I think the bitching is to do with the fact that the trickle was to start next week. The flood is now to start in August.

Makes sense to me. Why leave it 'till last minute to inform us? After months of anticipation nonetheless.

Man i love how everyone thinks SE needs to tell them 3 months in advance every choice they make. They could care less right now if you guys quit over this or w/e cause if they don't get more players to play this game its gonna bomb anyway so it don't matter if you guys don't like this choice or not.

No one gives a shit about mmo's @ E3 its all about Nintendo Sony and Microsoft, all the press is gonna be over those three big companies all the little bitches in this thread whining makes me remember why i hates these forums.
