There is no gameplay at E3 period. The most you will see is interviews and artwork. If there was actual gameplay detailing how 2.0 will work and all then there would be no need to withdraw that trailer. Everyone has to understand that they are keeping the info under wraps for a longer time and not that they have something even bigger planned for E3.

You maybe surprised, "Things are not always as they appear to be" As I said Numerous of times, We will see. We all have opinions, and that's fine, but the best thing anyone can do, is wait till E3 comes to show or not show us stuff about FFXIV.. That's really the only Middle ground I can come up with atm.

So what are all the things on the show floor, fake consoles with a slideshow on the screen, and even in the conferance halls, devs can show what ever videos they like, the Wii-U video showed people (warning this will blow your mind) playing a test version to show how the console would combine the tablet and Wii-mote controlers, so yeah that is what they are working on for gameplay, and I have seen many movies at E3 showing some gameplay (ACR and many more did last year)

What you show depends on what you want to showcase. Is your game not ready for E3, throw together a trailer and watch this space, if you have a fully working version of the game you will release in a couple of months, show gameplay to showcase how well the game plays, and what people can expect if they play the game. Look at the FFXIV opening movie and tell me where it shows how the game actually is (the opening movie was the trailer)

All I said is Wait till E3 Case closed, weather theirs info or not, Yelping about it now isn't changing any facts. Will see what they have in store for us, via Website, or E3 whatever the case maybe, were getting "something".

They ARE releasing the game to the public at E3, what this means is SHOWING the public what it will be like.

Ehm...am I missing something or why does everyone think they are skipping E3?
They aren't, they said there will be a shitload of NEW information on FFXIV 2.0 on E3 as well as a website afterwards.
NEW as in "stuff we haven't seen yet in the PDFs".

The ONLY thing they aren't showing is a trailer, and seriously, I'm kind of happy about that.
Trailers never really show anything about what has changed, they always look cool even if the game is crap.
If they only showed a trailer, everyone would have been like "Meeh. They are just hyping their broken game with an awesome-looking trailer while the game is actually shit."
By NOT doing that but rather showing information on what has changed and will continue to change with the release of 2.0, they can show way better that FFXIV 2.0 is NOT the same old broken game with only a new wrapping.

People just enjoy complaining at every chance they can just because of a change in how things are being presented.
