E3 Expectations

Weird thing is, it seems that he's going to E3 anyway, what will he be presenting ?

that what i'm thinking what information? i mean why waste money on just that? if you don't have anything hand on to play with? or at least a video for the sony part of the day for them to show o.o you trying to get ps3 players then display a new trailer for sony like you did before lol

A 2.0 trailer would generate hype in any case also it's only a mere short video.. so i'm not agree with this decision.

On the other hand, E3 event could becloud it. In this case, i think they should make a separate event (with videos and info) for the 2.0 presentation in the near future.

Letter fdrom the Editor just posted. Expect nothing concerning Ver 2.0 from E3. They are now planning a large promotional campaign starting in Aug with lots of info. A new section is planned for the Lodestone that will detail Ver 2.0 info as they are released. New Letter next week.

I'm looking forward to gameplay trailer,showing new UI, new redesigned world.

But knowing the timeframe they had, it will probably be #1, only CGI....

But also keeping my expectation even lower again, there will probably be nothing, only an announcement that they're working on it.

No trailer for E3 what a huge mistake. XIV needed a big event like E3 to gain exposure to new people. Majority of people checking out XIV after E3 will be people who were gonna look into it reguardless.

Exactly, everyones going to be checking out e3, and only be interested/reminded about what is exposed there. Unless some how SE make a big show about XIV and its not just hidden away, then no ones gunna remember it that dont already follow it. Thus wasted opportunity.

Even when this website comes up, how are people going to find it who dont watch lodestone every day?
