E3 Expectations

Yeah, I hate the pre-E3 news drought. You're right: it happens every year. Everyone's quiet prior to their big E3 announcements. It's just how it works. Kind of like the way the ocean water recedes under you just before you get smacked by a huge wave.

Every once in a while something gets leaked early by mistake, so this week could end up interesting. But I'm not expecting much until next week.

Turn your head to the left. Now to the right. Chances are you bumped into at least a dozen other negative or QQ threads in doing so. It's the pre-E3 news drought, happens every year. People have nothing better to do. It isn't just the forums here, I assure you.

Sorry but that is absolutely not true... Just like last year, you'll get everything leaked before E3 that it will only be redundant. Even trailers were shown earlier than E3 last year.

There is a simple reason for that. Small or independent games will be overshadowed by the big games that no one is going to care for. That's why they are better off building hype before E3...

Just wait and see the nest few days, you'll see "E3 trailer of X game", "E3 trailer of Y game"

I"m sure the devs are gonna love to read how negative everyone is being towards E3, it's not like Yoshi took flights to SE in America and Europe for some reason oh wait he did... <_< Seriously why is this thread so negative lol, maybe it's not a majority but a good portion are just like oh ya it's gonna suck, it's not like this game has changed for the better since Yoshi took over but let's not have any faith that E3 will bring about some good information for XIV let's just assume everything is going to suck and the gaming industry will crumble cause we just don't has any faith in nothing.

Maybe if devs/reps posted more on their plans for class/job abilities in 2.0 rather than music replay or making night time scary I'd be a lot less negative.

But with how enfeebles being awful and thunder only combos, and tons of worthless Disciple of magic drops even with the newest released content, I have very little faith left.

Unless E3 shows revamped Black mage/thaumaturge in 2.0 this game has failed to me. It should to everyone since we seem to sticking with only 15 god damn abilities. 15 abilities for each class/job... for the rest of the games life time...

I expect a trailer with mixed cgi and some realtime CS with poor real gameplay at e3, but after the trailer an anouncement for the site that should be FULL of gameplay.. And after the e3, a live letter to explain better the actual situation.

with the new letter it seem like there is noting at E3 no new trailer so pretty much i did not get my hope for noting i guess i was right to wait and see if they releasing something or not.

i'm pretty much they not releasing anything for E3 this is there big chance at making 2.0 known to all people and they end up doing this how sad

A 2.0 trailer would generate hype in any case also it's only a mere short video.. so i'm not agree with this decision.

On the other hand, E3 event could becloud it. In this case, i think they should make a separate event (with videos and info) for the 2.0 presentation in the near future.
