No, whoever Bought the Original FFXIV, Automatically are entitled to FFXIV 2.0 Download for free, and Since its a new Client, Everyone will be required to uninstall 1.0, and reinstall 2.0 onto their computers. Yoshida announced that a long time ago.

not only that, i think it says on the timeline that theres 1 month of "rolling out 2.0 client", likely giving us a month to all get it dl'd and patched and what not XD

Yeah when you got 10-20GB of game data to download....... and not everyone has comcast.. like me >.<

i have zero expectation why? because 2.0 wont bring everything they said it be in 2.0a 2.0b 2.0c and then the rest of the stuff may be delay too 2.1 2.2 if everything they said does come in the patch 2.0 then that fine but no need to get your hope up then it just get burn later
