Final Fantasy always has heros riding dragons and eidolons and motorcycles and robots and weird shambling monsters... why not ladybugs for lala and draken for ... whatever. Dodos are perfect for the FF theme as an alternate for Choco. The quest to find someone who tames Dodos should lead into a lost Moggle village where you have to save the Moggles from rampaging giant super-dodos. You must find the recluse moggle dodo trainer to defeat the rampaging super-dodos.

As stated above, I will absolutely shun this out of principle if it is implemented. I agree, with a couple posts in the thread...the barding was a great start in the correct direction for the game, and the Gobbue was a keen alternative. But a dodo? seriously?

Anyway, to the Dev Team, here are a few basic simple words and/or phrases that might put things back in perspective...

Chocobo barding? <Good job!>
Chocobo breeding? <Can I have it?>
Wyvern mount? <When can I have it?>



Magitek? <excitement>...<When can I have it?>
Personal or Linkshell Airship? <Impossible to guage>... <End key>
