Imperials in Mor Dhona?

So having just missed Dodore, I decided to take a few friends to show them the Imperial Stronghold, on our way there this happened:


Now I'm still in Mor Dhona waiting for a repop if possible to happen. So far after almost 3 hours there's been nothing. The only other thing I can think that could/would make it possible is Archadius is the only one in the party who has the On The Properties of Beastmen in his inventory. Thought I'd post this incase it is something new and if its not, then go ahead and ignore the thread lol.

You mean they aren't always there?

The one and only time we went to see the new stronghold, there were lots of Imperial forces there and we really had to fight our way to the gate.

I don't think anyone in our party of 4 had the On The Properties of Beastmen, so that's probably not related.

I've been there quite a few times since it was added and never came across any Imperials blocking the way. Thanks for the clarification though, thought it might have been new.

Maybe this is why their forces are attacking more during the invasion time for the three nations. The forces are being sent from their base.

yea that's all we are getting for drops also..

Sounds like another one of those live-action events that you hear npc's talking about in cities and at various camps. You know, like what happens one east of ... Glory? Dragonhead? one or the other. Not talking about the new one you party up for and then get ported off with a special aether gate, but instead the first type that they released where you just kill the npcs and then talk to a nearby npc to get a reward/lodestone achievement.

Probably just added this one with the addition of the base and being able to see their airship/water bottles with wings things on the mountains around Bluefog.

Seems like they're just regular mobs, not event ones. Probably just put there in preparation for the opening of the stronghold. Hopefully this means well get to go in at 1.22b.
