Sincerely doubt that you will see X-Box360 anytime soon. SE tried negotiating with Microsoft early on but the talks died when Microsoft insisted on linking the game with their Gold Membership <in a typical Microsoft money grabbing move>. SE almost dropped them years ago when Microsoft tried the same thing with FFXi
I do think that SE should provide a little something extra for those of us who purchased the CE edition in 2010 and stayed with the game. Maybe an in-game item of some worth. Issuance could be linked to Legacy Membership

Its hilarious how MSFT thinks it rules the planet. SE has a lot of clout as a company, MSFT has no respect because they're foreign...and MSFT thinks its the king of software. SE could probably eat MSFT for breakfast bahaha. Too bad AAPL is kicking MSFT's ass forwards and backwards. It needs to wake up and realize it was the king of software a good 10+ years ago...before windows vista came out in all of its crappy wonder.
EDIT: in case there's confusion, MSFT is Microsoft and AAPL is Apple. Ive been staring at stock symbols the past cpl day for hours, so my bad lol.

I don't think Microsoft thinks it owns the world. I think it is a company, and it wants to do what it can to make profit, just like any other company. Apple is making a lot of profit, at the same time it is remaking what it always has and people keep buying it. You forget Apple is software and hardware, Microsoft is mainly software. Yeah, Apple is growing to be really really big, and already is, but it does a lot. Anyways who cares if it goes on Xbox, really? I was talking about the CE edition in general. I want it to be better. Its hilarious how MSFT thinks it rules the planet. SE has a lot of clout as a company, MSFT has no respect because they're foreign...and MSFT thinks its the king of software. That would be nice, something a bit extra for 2.0 users who bought 1.0 CE. Maybe even the item given to the 2.0 CE people. Good idea.

Microsoft doesn't want any game passing though Silver Membership period. despite what you may think the issue is with the security of the platform. XI proved one fatal flaw in the XBL framework you could piggy back though Silver Memberships allowing you to play for free on the XBL platform.

I based my comments upon the fact that I worked security at the Redmond campus for a number of years and made friends in the X-Box division. No mention of the problem you stated for FFXI ever came up. You may be right but I am unaware of it.Microsoft doesn't want any game passing though Silver Membership period. despite what you may think the issue is with the security of the platform. That wasn't a flaw, that was intent. MS stated it at their own press conference that no additional fee's woudl be neccesary to play it.Microsoft doesn't want any game passing though Silver Membership period. despite what you may think the issue is with the security of the platform. The issue with XIV, is the interface and security SE currently uses. Since it would pass through their routing system, it must meet criteria that it currently does not. However that has changed and some rumors will be dispelled in 2013.
